The day finally came! Twintuition is now available at all major retailers, independent book stores, and on e-readers. YAY! It’s been over 2 years since Tia and I started creating the world in which Caitlyn and Cassie call their own, and the release has been both overwhelming and exciting. Overwhelming because the build up and hard work we put into it was all consuming at times, and as anyone can imagine, hard to balance with the rest of our daily lives. But exciting because it’s been incredible to see so many people as excited about the release as we are.
This past Tuesday, we started the day off with a press tour to discuss the book and what inspired us to writeTwintuition: Double Vision, and the day continued from there. By evening we were at The Grove’s Barnes & Noble ready to meet fans, read an excerpt from Double Vision and sign books. To everyone who came out and visited, THANK YOU! We loved meeting you all–both new little fans and those of you who’ve followed along since the days of Sister Sister. Hopefully, we’re encouraging a generation to find great joy in reading (as we have our entire lives), and the message they take away from Twintuition is that you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
Here’s a few pictures from the event and videos from the day that I just had to share!
I can’t believe that in exactly one week Tia and my tween book, Twintuition, will be released. It seems like just yesterday we announced the series, but forever ago since we started working to make our dream a reality with HarperCollins. Reading is incredibly important to us both. It’s something we liked doing with our parents as children, continue to enjoy today (cookbooks count too!), and is an activity we love doing with our boys now. I hope that Twintuition will encourage tweens to read, while giving parents a tool to instill the value of reading in their children. And because I’m bursting at the seams to hear what you all think of the series, I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the release than with a giveaway. So, follow the instructions below and you could be one of five readers to take home a book signed by those Tia and me!

A few weekends ago, Adam and I celebrated our upcoming baby girl at the prettiest of showers we could have dreamed of. It was amazing. I had told Andrea, one of my best friends, that I didn’t want to know any details beforehand–I trusted her to handle logistics and design with the planner, Mindy Weiss. As expected, they didn’t disappoint! From the tables (the head table was draped in a tutu-inspired cover!) to the treats (I died when I saw the cake below), everything looked beautifully pretty in pink.
Once we arrived, the baby shower was a whirlwind. All of my dearest friends and family were there and Adam and my hearts were filled with so much love and joy. We ate, mingled, took so many pictures and played a pretty heated game of pregnancy Jeopardy. Adam got a little uncomfortable reading off some of the questions. Lol. And my girls from The Real proved that when it comes to competition, they do not slack!
Here’s a look inside our big day. And don’t forget to pick up the latest Us Weekly for more details and pics from our baby shower!
Pretty soon will they’ll have another little munchkin to hold hands with!
How gorgeous are these cakes?! Of course we had to celebrate Aden becoming a big brother. :)
Stunning flowers and so many goodies, what more could a pregnant gal want? Lol.
Sibling love <3
Pregnancy Jeopardy at it’s finest!
Was so thrilled all four of my The Real cohosts could make it. These girls are amazing and these two, such clowns.
